Don't know what I could say that others haven't already said. I found this since it was featured and it is an absolutely fantastic piece! Very much closer to being realistic than Takahashi-sensei's style, but still very recognizable. I applaud you.
Sorry, I really don't want to sound rude, but I'm going to have to disagree. I honestly didn't see too many changes that you provided and the things that where changed didn't really do much. The only thing I agree with is the furthest arm being higher.
Thank you for the critique though, I think about it in my next artworks.

This is beautiful, i wanna see all of the inuyasha chars from you ^_^ ur style is fantastic.. I Love her realness and coloring and hair and EVERYTHING :DD
Hmmm... I have manga studio, and I've been wondering if it can do that. It's the debut version, so I doubt it, but maybe it's similar. You wouldn't know how to make brushes by any chance would you?
Well, I'm poor too, and I torrented photoshop... n_nU
Yes, you can add other brushes made by people, or make your own in photoshop. I just use the preset brushes though.
I want photoshop so bad. Due to circulastances that don't let me wear an eyepatch and a peg leg, I can't get my hands on it without saving up for like a year... But, I can't wait until I do get it! And illustrator!
I always wondered, does photoshop like allow you to import other things like brushes you or other people created?
Thanks for the critique. I couldn't find a way to get the straps to looks right (makes me regret merging the layers so soon), and I noticed it a bit after I posted that her back seems a bit awkward.
Very realistic! I love the hair! (I wish I could get mine like that!) Do you use photoshop? Very smooth colors, it has a nice effect on the light and adds to the authenticity.
If there was on e thing I'd have to pic out in the picture.... It would be the straps on her back. It's not the color or anything. They seem to not 'blend in' with rest of the picture. Maybe it's the way you shaded them. I'm not used to giving critiques, but I hope this helps!
