Ryan- Age: 17(16 in book one) Personality: Carefree, laid back, opitmistic, and protective of people he's close to. Hobbies: Drawing, pulling pranks on his best friend, and eating. Special skills: He can shapeshift into any animal (he ate a fruit that the seawitch cursed) Other info: Ryan's dad left to be a pirate when Ryan was 2, and Ryan decided to go and follow in his dad's footsteps. Ryan's best friends Gilbert (Gil) is one month older than him and is like his brother. Gil's dad left with Ryan's to become a pirate. (Gil and Ryan are almost exactly like there dads....yeah....) Ryan is one of those guys that as soon as you meet him you'll either love him or hate him. (I don't draw this well enough, but-) All the girls on his home island fall head over heels for him. He loves his mom to death, and would to anything for her...even though he left her behind...and will be scolded this the world ends if he goes back home.

Tara- Age: 17 (16 in book one) Personality: A bit stuck up, serious about certian things, but is fairly happy. Has a slight anger problem. Hobbies: Maps, she likes to make them. Special talent: Acting....she's gotten Ryan into a lot of strange situations because of that. Other info: Tara's parents own a bakery on another island, and were going to force Tara to take it over, but she ran away and ended up on the same island as Ryan. (I don't draw well enough either but-) She's one of the most beautiful girls on the island, and she knows it. She has this reputation and she won't go out with certain guys unless they're just as good looking as she is....but she has a real soft spot for guys that act like her little brother.
