Haha ,I thought adding the comment for you to be able to read it easier was a nice gesture(glad you liked it).I think the "but" was caused because it must be weird reading your own comment in someone else comments.Maybe you saw it and were like hummmm I think I said something like....oh it's my comment XD.
Commissions must be really fun to make but I get so scared at dev.I think it's a combination of Battle Royal with Dr Gray man.You put a lot of artists into a small place with a limit food supply and make survival first priority (nature law,the strong survive) .
So I'm scared to go there because someone might attack my art O_o.
Finishing commissions first before switching style sounds like something logical.Your style is in a more neutral pose at Anime//not Anime ,so I think you be able to jump at realism with not so much problem. It would still be fun to look at when you started drawing because I never seen your first pics :3 (prob the otaku ones are not ur first).
It's great you got so many memories from your pars Rerei.
This is so beautiful, I love the sharp lines and smooth shadows, they emphasize their pose and emotions.
The eyes are gorgeous too, so deep and detailed <3
wow.. i appreciate the ur putting ur replies in one place.. makes it easier for me to read but................................ yeah.. XD
anyways.. this is just a sketch commission.. the simplest form.. the other commission is detailed and will cost her more.. *^^;*
that old gelpen was a remembrance from my elementary teacher..
im still trying to improvise my current anime style.. discovering new and coming up with new styles always happen whenever i try to draw something random.. however, i got into something so i had to leave anime style for a while and come up with a different style with no hint of anime/manga or at least a style that doesnt suggest anime.. this new style is only temporary though.. or maybe not.. if i ended up liking that better than my current anime style, im definitely gonna go for that one.. whatever "that one" is.. XD
but like i said, gotta finish the commissions first because drawing 2 different styles at the same period will affect my skills.. lol..
Ok first about the new picture, the pose is really good and well archived.I like the way you always picture your side characters, they just look great!
Somehow I don't feel your usual super power at the hair, usually I will take a mag glass to see all the detail you add to each hair and say " hummm to much lineart power X_x ".I think you wanted to get this one done due to all the work you have to finish. What really inspired me in this one was your eye style and the great shading you always use!
Somehow you taught me something at this picture,I feel I understand now your hair technique now :3.
Haha I hope the comment doesn't end beeing very big!
(comment reply!)
heheh... though mech pencils arent expensive, i love to cherish my tools since they've helped me accomplish something even if it's just for a while.. and coz of this "feelings for tools" that i have, i have lots of garbage like inked-out gelpens from 8yrs ago, a huge block of eraser that i've never used since 2002, etc... lol...
oh dear.. i would've come up with some illustration for a piano piece if i wasnt art blocked.. *excuses.. tsk..* v_v"
im rooting for the right one too.. of course.. i've been developing that style for years and finally came up with something common but sorta unique from the other anime style.. but.... sigh.. one point in ur life, u gotta make a turn and roll over up and down.. XD
I can relate to that feeling,I always keep my lucky meca pencils close to me.After some time I will finally loose one and will have to get a new one,it's just how things work -_- .Oh wow 8 years, don't tell me you been drawing since 14 O_o.I just been drawing for 4,5 years tops.
Humm for one second I thought u ment you were gona play some piano piece , I sometimes like to play if I have the time,it's really fun.
Humm that's very interesting,I just made a full flow diagram to recover all what I learned and all the skills. It's so big I haven't finished with the maya part, but it's going great.I'm very sruprised you ahve so many wonderful styles that make you unique,I been trying to get mine but seems it will still take some time. You will have to tell me all in the next comment(hummm hope it wasn't a very big one haha XD).
