This looks too awesome. Reminds of the opening from Paranoia Agent where everyone is happily laughing despite the bad things happening everywhere. Love the blue whale at the top left. How miraculous would it be to see something that big just gliding by above you? Despite having an immense fear of deep water, I love this! Fantastic Job.
I couldn't add a comment when I hugged and fav'ed this. BUT! I'm doing it now. :D
But OHMYGOSH! I love this!!! The idea is simply wonderful! You wouldnt happen to have the original so I could maybe use it as a background woudl you? ;D
But holy flip this is amazing
Flaws do = character :)
You know that someone truly cares when they brick you like that. -AZ
Blows me away, I've never seen anything like this. This is like an image that one may imagine, a moving image like you said, and you executed it excellently. You've captured the figures in such a way that suggests so much more. They're in motion and interact with the underwater environment differently, making it an interesting story.
I'm extremely jealous<3
I admire the way you've created an illogical scenario through realistic style; they look like actual people floating, especially the man. Like, I said, the background looks pretty real. The way the architecture fades and blurs because of the water and perspective. The top of the image is just as beautiful as the lower half. The far away sun and whale swimming high above "skyscrapers," it's awe inspiring.
Lol, lastly, I love the fat fish that's swimming toward the viewer. Like the other fish, it emphasizes the displacement of humans, like the fish have taken over--well, in this case, they may have.
I hope you do get to animate this one day.

OMG I love it! I've always thought about a city underwater!
I would flip if a shark swam by me.
