No, I use PhotoshopCS. And I was getting irritated in recreating them. I basically colored first, then cropped off from the rest of the pic to be able to copy it. After it was paste and place in desired area. I did have problems afterward when I put in the background color. The rest of the eyes would go a dull color and the original... well, would stay the original color. It was a tiring process to figure out. I basically had to merge all the rest into the original eye. Confusing n annoying, I know! LOL

Thanks! And yeah, I do want this story to have a bit of mysterious or creepy air to it. I actually just drew one keyhole and eye which is the one below Hans elbow. From there, I just "reproduced" the little darlings to create the background. Glad u liked it!
