Oh, and have you ever uses a tablet? It can be frustrating the firdt couple of times using it. I'd say you're better off, like me, sketching on paper, upload, then doing all the great color stuff on a computer program.
OH! And you should use The Gimp. It's a free version of photoshop that is WAY easier to use that is loveable~! It's to get you used to photoshop ;3

this looks REALLY pretty! i love it. ur an amazing artist. i love the way u drew her eyes and her hair and the background. coloring doesnt really matter, to me persnally, as long as the art itself is worth looking at, or speaks to me. this one is both XD
