Aw, this is very cute. :) I love her outfit, especially the hat! xD
Like you said, the legs are a little large for the rest of her body, and I think you could add a little more shading to this. If you're not very good with shading, I reccomend praticing with colored pencils because you can erase them and they're very easy to work with. (Besides all the sharpening. xD;)
You don't have to do that last part, it's just an idea. ^^
