Well I think we have a winner, I may as well leave mine out it looks pretty amatuer next to this awesome picture! Good job and that was a smart move! Original fishies and everything!
Yeah, I was noticing the narrowness in his figure. It looks a bit better on the original paper, so I think the scanner might have just slightly distorted it. ;-;
Thanks for the comment (and the criticism, it's always helpful! :D)
wow, this is a superb composition, really beautiful.
I can see some anatomy issues, Aang's a little narrow and elongated in the torso, but the other details and the animals are awesome along with the coloring job.
the whole piece is extremely eye catching, great work ^^
It wasn't that hard to scan it in two parts, but it was a nightmare to put the parts together so they would fit. ;-;
I scanned the paper in two halves: the upper and lower half. I put the paper into the scanner to fit as much of the drawing as I could and scanned it. To get the rest of the drawing, I then put the paper back in the scanner and turned it around to scan the other half. Then I spent an hour in Photoshop to stick the two halves together. ;-;
The paper was 11' x 14' smooth Bristol paper. The paper itself is great: it's really smooth (like the name :D) and brings out the colors in my pencils well. The paper itself is bright white - I just penciled in the yellow coloring and applied an old paper texture in Photoshop to finish the effect. ;D
Bawh, I hope you do well in the contest too! Your Momo picture was amazingly adorable. <3

Uhh goldy... this is really breathtakingly beautiful!! <3
Man I just LOVE this piece. You're amazing with colored pencils. What kind of paper did you use? Wasn't it hard to overpower that yellow color of the paper?
Gosh the coloring is simply amazing and I simply love how you did the edges of each element. They all fit so well together and that dragon design is pretty awesome! But my favorites are the wind element and the earth element. And I love how aang bends all four elements. I'd definitely love to have this hanging on a wall! :P <3
I had a somewhat similar image in mind to draw for this contest *yes I wanted that double bonus too! hehe but I don't know if I can make it in time since I'm going on vacation the 14th and I'm really busy at the moment :P* but then with people (I've been thinking of adding the representative animals but I couldn't figure out how they would nicely fit in :P*
Good luck in the contest! ;D I bet you'll do great :P
....is what happens when one is speechless. You know, sort of like how I am now! I'd hug this twice if I could...The coloring is so terrific, and the style in which the elements are represented are so fitting to the series, yet at the same time holds your touch. I love how Aang is shown with the small swirls of elements in the middle!
this is great! Wonderful job!

Two words: A-mazing! *laughs*
You did an excellent job! Glad this was a great way for you to dust off your Prismacolors! (They are pretty rad pencils. Mine are getting dusty...)
I love how you incorporated all the elements AND you featured the animals who originated the bending. That's a Quadruple bonus in MY book! Heehee
Thanks for participating! Good luck!
