ah you shouldnt worry about the hips...actually it just looks like she looks thinner in the area like shes kinda turned so its just the angle!

It still looks really awsum! And I knw what you mean about troubles with pen X_x I USUALLY draw with pen and the styles come out a LOT different. If I use pencil everything looks almost too perfect or blocky? XD Ne hoo, nice work!
