What I do is make the cakes at night then put them in the frig over night once I’m done. Then in the morning I take the cakes out then cut them up. :3

Well I always get impatient, and cut it within five minutes or so of making it, which smears it.

I just use a really pointed object like a tooth pick and scratch up the surface. It takes a lot of practice and patience.

Did I show you this tutorial already? That's how they do it but it does take a lot of practice so I would use some junk clay to practice texturing.

everytime I try to make cakes, I always cut too early, and I can never get the texture to look right, what do you use for doing that???

Haha, you wouldn’t believe how much I was sweating while taking the pictures of this cake! I was in the share kitchen and it was a hot day as it is so after 10 minutes of taking pictures my face was dripping with sweat! I didn’t take as many pictures as I wanted to with this cake but when I saw this shot I knew it was the one. XD

I agree! You’ll probably start hallucinating crazy colors or something. 8D
