I LOVE what you did with the coloring here omg..it's SO light and soft and especially the lineart and coloring style on the girl seems a lot more professional-looking in terms of texture. The emotion and happiness really shows in the artwork and awww look at that cute little shark!<33 I REALLY love what you did with the colors here...you should really use colored pencils more often Ryu-chan, I think you just keep getting better and better with them!
Hm..my favorite part of this pic probably has to be..the whole thing! LOL. I really love how you can tell how well the shark and the girl interact..and even with the cute little shark surf board in the back haha<33 I just love this so much!

I really like this style (even though I don't think I've seen much of your work, before). I especially like how you outlined everything in darker shades of the colors you used. (I'm actually starting to use only colored pencils for my art, too. I'm in the experimental stage.)

When you mentioned that the shark needed a name, I started thinking of a good one, but all I could come up with was Toothy. 'Cause sharks have lots of teeth. But that name seems too plain. Toothiness, maybe? *Shot.*

I like shark week, too...I just...wow...it feels like shark week last year was just a few months ago...O.o Wow...time sure does fly...O.o
