Thanks, though I wasn't sure if I'd even place or not. I just liked the anime from what I saw in the first two episodes, so I wanted to draw something for it. Hopefully, we'll know who else placed because there are a few that I really liked (yours included).
Thanks, though I'm no "master". I'm just learning the different techniques for watercolor. It's harder than it seems because you need to make sure you don't wear out the tooth of the paper.

Wow, thanks so much for the kind words. I experimented with watercolor paints in this one, so I was nervous I was going to mess it up. As for Casshern's clothes melding with Ringo's hair... yeah I did cut it close. orz" I wanted to fill up as much of the page as I could with their faces so I could emphasize their expressions.

Oh my gosh Kaijin this is really amazing! >.< I LOVE how you use watercolors and I love how Casshern looks here. I think my favorite part has to be the expressions and how you were able to add some texture to the pic with splatters to mimic the ocean effect you were looking for ^^ I really love what you did with the layout of this pic as well~ although I think it might have been a bit better if you differentiated Casshern's clothes with Ringo's hair..it looks a bit like they are melded together somewhat(but I don't know if that was intended, so yeah...). Nevertheless I love this so much! Keep it up!<3
This looks awesome! Very appropiate for the beach scene I think. ^^ And yes, you did get that calm look to it. My favorite character is Dune, but he comes in much later ^^
