hmm... i wanted the jacket/sweater thing to be tight yet not so tight ...... id be more careful next time creating ups and down in clothing!!
....
and yes i was going for skin tight effect on arms
lol whenever i draw muscular men i go for either shirtless or skin tight clothing and when ever i draw loose clothing i always draw skinny men XD... it has become kind of a habit XDD
...
personally i struggle a lot with fingers so thanks for complementing the hands
..
now that i think about it it would look perfect if he had a pistol in his left hand and reloading the magzine from his right
...
XD XD XD i was thinking straight untill i read " Okay that sounds wrong on so many levels " XDDDD XDDD ...
thanks for taking the time to critique!! :]
Well his face is lovely! I love the profile-angel that you did. And how he is looking straight ahead instead of twords the veiwer.
I think what looks off is his shirt/sweater clothing object or what have you. It seems to lie strangly not only on his arms but around his back and neck. I think that you are going for a 'popped' collar effect or look- but it almost seems like its there. I think if you tilted the collar forward more and angeled down into his face it would look a tad bit more real.
As for his arms you might be going for the skin-tight effect to show off his wonderful muscles. If your doing that than bloody brillent. The only to say about that is some more clothing wrinkles around his joints. If you wanted it more loose I sugesset not pulling it so taught over his arms/muscles.
I really love the hands. You have AMAZING skill with hands. I have no idea what they are doing but they looks AMAZING doing it.
The colors and values are great, however the arms and hands are very disproportionate compared to the head - or conversely, the head is too small in contrast to the rest of the body, so keep practicing anatomy. You did a great job on the facial profile!

I love the coloring, you did a fantastic job! I have to say, however, that the arms look a wee bit too long and slightly awkward in that position, also his head is a little bit small for the rest of him.
I really like the way you added some texture to his sweater, it makes it pop very nicely. :D

@Carbon Frost:
*laughs* Don't worry I like the effect of the muscley arms. XD I fail at clothing folds as well so don't feel so bad.
Really? I never would have guessed! Ever image that I've seen you draw you've done wonderful hands! I think your not giving yourself enough credit!
And the gun thing? brillent! DO IT! *grins*
