I have no doubt that you can do better than this, but considering what it is (just lineart and some basic shading), I think you've done very well. Of course you can improve (and, judging by your latest fan art, you have), I was just giving my honest opinion :] You don't need to put your work down so much, it's not as bad as you think.

Wow, I like the fact that even though it's just lineart + shadows, it's so vibrant! I love the pose, it looks very natural, and the fingers look great. If anything, I think I prefer your version over Disney's :D Great work!
