I love[/emphasis] your choice in a color palette for this. You clearly know your color wheel and are not shy in using complimentary colors. It's a very simplistic piece and I admire that. You only used value where it was absolutely needed, and the choice to do this does not look lazy at all, as when some attempt it. You executed it perfectly.

I know nothing of your characters or where they come from, but I am already drawn in to the story they want to tell.
