Yeah, Copic refills are expensive, but as far as I know they are better than re-buying the markers themselves because the refills can fill a marker 10 times (I think). I haven't had to refill mine yet because I haven't really used them for anything big. I really love all of your art though, and if I had the money, I'd love to buy a piece from you. I remember that first Copic marker drawing you submitted here and I was blown away.
I want to buy some professional-grade watercolors and another Copic set, but right now I'm saving up to pay for my housing so I can go to an art college in Memphis. There's so much I want to do with my art. And I think you will be a great cartoonist! You have a wonderful talent for art and a lot of creativity!
Ah! Thank you so much!! I always love your comments!
Man I've been such in an art slump really and haven't been able to draw as much as I want, even when I DO get the time to. You see, I used up all of my copic markers..(nearly all 72) and I haven't drawn anything because I'm still grieving the price of refilling them!! xD
So, basically all I am comfortable drawing with are pencils and crayons. Copics were PERFECT for me, but it's going to have to wait because I can't spend so much money on them when I can't even afford heat in my house.
I really hope I can try new things, like watercolours or pastels, I'm so afraid of watercolours because I know they leak through stuff and I feel like pastels are..I don't know XD but I feel like they wouldn't work out the way I wanted them to. I just want to be a cartoonist so badly that once I tried copics I never feel comfortable with anything else! haha
Wow, these are amazing!! OwO You have a wonderful God-given talent, and it's been so cool to see your art develope these last four years I've been on theO. The girl with the veil at the top-left is my favorite. LOVE,LOVE,LOVE all the details and the beautiful gray-values!! I can't wait to get a better look at these if you're able to submit larger images. Keep up the great work and hope you have a good year.
