Yeah, I've looked at tutorials for skin tones, but mostly I just experiment on a separate piece of paper. It's a layering process. As for Copics that I use, I only own the Copic Sketch markers. I don't care much for the Regulars because they are more rigid, but I'd like to get some Ciao's because they're better for smaller details.
Thanks Kaijin! I'm glad the skin turned out okay because the colors I used for it...I really wasn't sure if they would work Dx I read on different tutorials on what markers to use for skin but most of them were a little too light for Hirou.
Love these things so much now >w< If you don't mind me asking, what kind of copics do you use? Ciao, Sketch, Regular, or a combination of all of these?

Lookin' good. Love his skin and eye a lot. I've had mine for about a year now, and I'm just getting the hang of them. It's really fun practicing coloring styles with them. ^w^
