Hahaha at first I was like 'Who is kilmara' ,half second after 'she is Ellen you airhead ' .Seems that a long week made some problems with my head.I was kinda brainless haha!
Hummm I made the lineart and made the black tigger strips before starting to color.Working on a grayscale is something hard if you dont have already a working coloring scheme.Probably the tones you picked just made the picture look so weird. The problem is most of the time nature objects are made from different tones and colors,so using one will most of the time have weird results on the same pathern.I discovered that by mere accident.
Pick up the Eyedropper and take a sample of miku different hair tones. You will discover it's not only the same green darker and lighter tone.It works for skin but I think nothing more. Also human brain process of shapes is better than color and tones processing. When you are a little kid you always start with shape and add single color to your pictures.
*I'm thinking into reserching more about that.
I made a small movie using Maya and seems it was a really nice work, hope to upload it to youtube and I send you the results ^_^.Been fine for the time, with a lot of work and missing the dragon girl. How have you been?
*Big hugs
*Gona send you my tiger photoshop so you can study it :3.
Amazing. Stunning. Loving that intense stare and those colors! :D I saw the black and white version, did you do that first and then add colors or simply greyscaled the drawing? :P I've tried it once going from black and white drawing and then adding colors but the result was terrible xD
Loving all the details in the fur and all the different brown, orangish tones you used. The paw is also a great add hehe! Fur looks so fluffy and soft :P
Oh and what have you been up to? Anything major? How are you? :D Hugs!! Ellen

FINALLY I AM MAKING TIME TO COMMENT ON THIS. GEEZ >.< Sorry Angel-kun!! *super hugs* Forgive this irresponsible Sayu-chan! T__T
Waahhh I was just so so appalled when I saw this!! I've never had such a gorgeous drawing of an animal dedicated to me before...and for it to be from my amazing friend Angel-kun?? Gosh it makes looking at this all the better! >.< I LOVE the black and white AND colored versions..I really think they are both gorgeous~ but I love the color pallate you used here a lot!!<3 Especially your choice of reds and browns..they all flow together seamlessly and so nicely it's just gorgeous!
The eyes and stripe patterns have got to be my favorite part of all! >.< I mean, look at that lovely texture in the fur!! It's so so beautiful I feel like I could just touch it >.<
Aww and 5 hours is PLENTY of time are you kidding me?? Don't say that it pales in comparison, this really is LOVELY and I adore it so much! ^^
Ahahaha that DOES describe me pretty perfectly!! xDD I'm pretty surprised that the description fit so well! And also that you know me well enough to know how I am xD Gosh I can't believe we know each other so well Angel-kun!
Anyways..I adore everything about this gorgeous piece of art and I can't thank you enough for the amazing friendship you've given me and the support! Your kind words always lift me up and your art always makes me feel happy inside ^^ Gracias por el todo, Angel-kun! Espero que yo pudiera hablarte contigo luego!<3
Love you so much!<33(gosh I fail at using subjunctive OTL)
Somehow drawing animals for me takes only 1 or 2 hrs .I guess it depends on the technique and if you have a fast and good one .Thanks for the kinbd words, may the spirit of the tiger also live with you.

OMB it looks soo cool and awesome Angel!! the coloring looks as if it really was its hair and my fav part is the paw that seems to be umm marcando la pantalla XD
I promised one of my subbers that I'll update my South Park comic before this month is over, so I'm working on some of the pages right now. I'm almost done but they do take a while to finish. And I'm also working on the colored version of the Jett and Takashi pic you commented on a while ago. And I still want to draw them together again, XD I'll have some new stuff up soon though!
I don't think the digital image editor program I use accepts different brush types. It's probably too old! ^_^ But Thanks very much for the offer Angel!

What a beautiful tiger! the brush technique you used made it look very realistic. And the blades of grass are a great touch! Really amazing piece Angel!
Wow, you did a really fantastic job drawing this tiger. It looks so realistic!
The fur is so visibly soft and they eyes capture the liveliness of the beast.
You did a very excellent job! Great work!
