Hey there, I saw you asked for critique, so here you go
First of all, let me tell you I recognised him IMMEDIATELY, without reading your description, so you did a good job there I do, however, think that some of the proportions in the face are a bit off... The head is a bit long overall. I think the lower half is actually pretty well done, but the nose is quite long. I think that is the main issue. At first I thought the forehead was kinda big too, but that's really not the problem^^ The hair is really good by the way, I love how you used all different shades of brown:) That's really something that makes it much more realistic^^
So all in all, I think the main thing you should focus on if you want to get better at realism, is just practice more!:) Maybe it would be a good idea to start by tracing some pictures, if just the outlines, to get a better feel of the proportions; especially the length of the head:) Otherwise, you've done a good job already!^^ *hugs*

I haven't been on here in a while, and when I come on here, I see this brilliant picture! I don't know what you're worrying about, your realism is FANTASTIC.
And it's no big deal, as I said. I would gladly have waited even a few more months, for something so wonderful.
I love the way you did his goatee, and all the different shades of brown in his hair just make so much more third dimensional, and realistic.

And again with all these fancy things about art! I have no idea what you mean by them!! But I am glad that you think i'm okay in all those diffrent styles that I have no idea about.
Also- I had never even heard about Mr Black until I was asked to draw this. XD Now I really never want to see his face again. TOO LONG STARING AT IT!
How could I forget to comment on this... Because this looks... So epic. Just that irony is that Sirius is not very black. xD But now that I think about it, I can't remember him very well. Hmm, I will have to rewatch some older HP movies.
But other that that, this is just SO GOOD! Even if it took you long, you have gain a lot of experience and you know... You know quite a lot art styles. First you go on with impressionism and then neo-impressionism, and then elements of grotesk, and now modern art. Quite cool.^^
