Yeah I can whip up some quick linearts from old drawings. Drawing from scratch in the program is turning out to be pretty easy too. Just make a rough sketch, new layer, and then start doing the same thing you would've done if it was a scanned sketch. :D
You obviously had knowledge of photoshop before hand and I added that comment on that picture before I am typing this one up. But the Pen tool is my favorite tool to use more than anything!
The paper thing is how I got used to it! xD
oh btw the burn and dodge tool are also helpful with shading and highlights.
If you have a scanner, then you can draw it on paper and use the pen tool to outline it on a new layer!
Pen tool = <3

Bout an hour. I've finished another one just now. I didn't shade it so it's only base colors. I don't know how to shade traditionally yet so I guess I'll stop off here. I'll come back to the shading department when I feel that I can draw AND color up to this point in under 30 minutes or so. :P
Thanks for the tips! YO THE PAPER TRICK IS EPIIC! LOL I instantly felt like I was on my sketchbook. I love that friction it gives you. <3 Also, I learned a few new tricks with the pen tool. I can clean up my drawing really quick now. I also have the choice of sketching it out from scratch with the pad or using the pen tool for sheer neatness purposes. They both run me the same amount of time. ;]
I'll upload the next one now. Hiko, thanks so much.
