If Smeargle learns the moves outside in regular double battles, it will still keep them in online battles. The easiest way to learn the right moves is to copy your other pokemon ^^
If Smeargle is KO'd, the sweep will most likely fail... Unless you have another substitute + belly drum + baton passer in your team. The only other pokemon I can think of for that is Mew...
Yeah,that's true. I don't think anyone's like that...maybe x3.
Smeargle can learn any random move by relearning sketch a few times, right? I feel like that's kinda dangerous, depending on the opponent. I forgot how Smeargle is, so I might be wrong but...
what if the opponent is on a higher level and is the right type to defeat Smeargle? You can be losing time as the opponent attacks you while Smeargle is relearning sketch a few times.
Sure, a Magikarp sweep is impressive and extremely embarrassing to the opponent, but you'd have to be battling a complete idiot with no priority moves (like quick attack) for it to work. When Smeargle comes out it's trouble - that thing can learn any move except for struggle and chatter by relearning sketch a few times. Hmm... Maybe I'll try to do a Magikarp sweep...
Hmm... But Magikarp becomes the powerhouse known as Gyarados, meaning that it has potential. And besides, after you see this, you'll never think of Magikarp the same again^^

Ds systems can't handle most security types. They can only connect to WEP and one other type... It's quite annoying.

Ah, that. I can't use it even at hotspots like Barnes and Noble where they have free wi-fi.

@Allie Elric:
Sorry...
Basically you just get into a regular double battle, have your other pokemon use the move you want to learn, and make Smeargle sketch it ^^
