Oh wow, that's a ton of work! And standing all day would kill me! But I bet the tamales taste awesome home-made!!! too bad they aren't easier to make. My mom makes a lot of snack breads like banana loaf or cornbread and my sister makes deserts. I always have to make sure I don't eat too much, cuz those deserts are addicting! And me? I make muffins from a package LOL
One thing my family makes every Christmas is gingerbread houses and cookies! And then we decorate them. We just did some cookies yesterday. They are soo good!
Haha poor you! Are you the youngest in your family? I'm the oldest, so I don't have to worry about being hugged by older people unless its by my parents xP

Yeah they a big pain to make because you have to prepare a bunch of stuff for them, and It takes a day to have everything done. Cooking them take forever to, it take about 2 or 3 hours for them to boil. I have to help my mom since my sister won't do it! I would like to just clean, but no I have to help or else my mom won't finish in time, I don't mind but it's so boring and our legs hurt from just standing there for hours making them! XD

I don't mind hugging the little kids, but I hate hugging my older sisters they cling to me! XD and my brother sqeezes me since he only gets to hug me once a year

Tomorrow is my little brother's birthday... he's officially turning 8. I think we'll be most busy on Christmas Eve though, since we'll be doing most of our Christmas celebration then (my other brother is going to work on Sunday for a bit so we won't be able to open gifts Sunday morning when he's gone x3)

oh my gosh sorry for the late reply, my sister had been hogging my computer for the past 2 days!
lol New Year's eve is really busy for my family. We have a traditon we do and we prepare this tradtional food called Tamales and those take nearly a full day to make, afterwards we have to clean the house which is to welcome the New Year, Later we have a party, then at midnight everyone hugs! lol It's fun all, then we stay up for a while!
It actually feels more busy then Christmas! Oh and it's finally snowing where I am, so it might be a White Christmas! XD Oh My it's so close now! XD
I forgot we also bake cakes and stuff! so much work in one day and then to have ever thing done by 7 pm to be ready for midnight! XD

Yeah, I know! I couldn't believe it when I looked at my calendar. I actually thought there was 2 weeks left... but there's only like 5 days till the 25th! I'm excited, but I'm more excited to get things done and post them on theO for everyone :D And of course, I'm hoping for more wintery weather >_< I like the snow and cold. And the best thing to do is to drink hot chocolate, listen to Christmas music, and go for a night walk to look at Christmas lights^^ Do you ever do those things? :)

I really had no idea about what paper to buy once and it drove me crazy. =_= I had to stop being shy and ask a sales clerk to recommend a type of paper for my copics >_< Its not fair that you can't try the paper out at the store before buying it lol x3

I can try searching for Borden&Riley rag paper online or something. Bristol is really good paper, but expensive! It's very thick and it feels like card paper. My teacher gave me some and I loved it! But it's not really good for marker, not cryola anyways, but I think it'd be good for copics though!!!

Hey you could try Borden&Riley rag paper... its good with markers. Its thin paper, but it doesn't bleed too much with markers or wrinkle at all. And I once heard that bristol is good paper too, but I've never used it. My experience with papers are limited =_= But I'm sure about that watercolour paper! You don't want to get it for markers.

Okay, got it! Thanks for the tips and advice! I just LOVE the feeling of having so much art paper x3 but then I also can't buy the right stuff >_< Once I used to just buy paper from the dollarstore so I could have a ton of cheap paper, but it always made me smudge with pencil and it was so-so with my other markers. I'm thinking of sticking with the paper I'm using with my copics, but its good to have another good choice for other mediums.
Oh just one thing I heard once... Watercolour paper really sucks markers dry. It would probably still work alright though! And I'll always remember to put something behind my good copy paper so it won't go through to the other side! thanks again :D

I think that the more expensive paper would be good for Copic Markers though. I myself want to use some water color paper for my cryolas, so I can spend more time making effects without the paper tearing. I just never get the chance to go to the art store, and I don't want to order anything online right now.
The computer paper is fine too, and it takes a while to run out unless you draw way to much! XD
oh and you have to be careful not to color through the paper, I've wrecked some drawing that way! XD

Thats great that you can get awesome results with it and your markers! Maybe its just me, but I heard that expensive paper is the way to go with marker art xP I guess that was wrong xP
I use Borden&Riley rag marker paper, but I'm going to need some new paper soon so maybe I'll try out something new :)

By the way, I just have to say again that BMC is a great comic so far! All of your comics are really cool and well done!

I just like to draw a lot which was why this comic was in color, I was also releasing some stress too.

For paper, I just use regular computer copy paper, but the paper I use is a little thicker then the normal paper. The paper I use is Ink Jet & Laser, 92 Brightness* 145 whiteness*, 24 lbs.

That paper is a little thicker then the normal paper, but I'm not sure if you would find it. Where I get it, it's a red package. XD

The blue paper I used for this comic was paper my brother gave me, but I don't know where he got it.
