Lineart can get tedious. As well as base colors, you are correct. But I still try to put my effort into them, otherwise I'd regret it later. It's worth it in the end, usually XD Maybe I'd be able to produce the kind of art I want once I try doing more sketches.

Ah... I have difficulty doing schedules... or rather making them. I'm the type of person who won't write stuff down and try to remember them all myself because it seems a bit troublesome... = > u>;= Also, it won't work, because if I make a schedule for myself, the others living in the household will requests other things of me. Perhaps I can make a schedule for myself when I live on my own. While I'm sure there's some hardships to that, I'll definitely look forward to less of others asking me to do things around the house. I won't have to be responsible for anyone but myself, then. And maybe a pet if I'm able XD With all of us needing to help take care of dad (who seems to be forgetting more details), It's almost impossible to make a schedule... Maybe that's it... things are too unpredictable, yet predictable around here... Not to mention, my mother's going away on vacation for a week and leaving dad here with us, which is going to be even worse because he'll ask 50 times a day where she is. orz

I find colouring and lineart the most boring part of the process unless I'm in the mood...so maybe it's just that you don't want to do the colouring! XD

Give yourself a schedule! Do this much stuff at this time, talk for this time, and then on the times you have left reward yourself with something you want to do like watch anime or something (that's what I try to do...should be doing now...but am lazeh...)

TT^TT Though I've heard of this one artist having an art block that lasted for years and she finally came back...even if it's for years, art is one of the many things that you can come back to at any time and you will never actually lose your passion.

That's another part of art block. There are many different forms of art block. But art block is basically any time when you find yourself that you can't draw art or something...that it just doesn't satisfy you or something. That happened to me recently, and I've been getting over it, the art block with the too many ideas.
