Thank you! XD And, yeah, I hated and loved hands at the same time...like do now...XD I remember ONE DAY out of many many years I was able to draw hands so I drew lots and I was happy, then the next day I couldn't draw them...'orz
And what are you talking about, missy!? You draw hands SO CUTELY~! X3 They're so nice! ^ ^
KYOOOOT. I love seeing really old art from people because it's like, "Look how far we've all come!". I love how you drew fingers in the old drawing. I avoided fingers at all costs. *STICK HANDS FOR EVERYONE FOREVER*
Anyways, I think it's safe to say you've improved a lot.
Hehe. One of my friends has a book that goes through a lot of Kanji. That's how I've been remembering them, but thinking about the symbol. Like, the symbol for bright uses the kanji for sun and moon and I think of the sun as bright.
Kanji/Chinese characters aren't very hard to memorize since they usually do make sense if you understand what the radicals are. Like the character for family 家 has a roof with a pig under it, so it reminds you of a home or something. I think it makes sense, especially when I write it 'cause I can see the pig and so I can draw a pig. Maybe make something up where you get a kanji character, look up what it means and then try and find what it looks like and draw that or something...Then again, that'd take a while...'orz
Lol. Yay. Can't wait to see it. I recently started learning commonly used kanji and I am now able to recognize 100 of them thanks to my flashcards. I just have to keep studying them so they will stick and then I'll learn how to write all of them.
A lot of my friends in my art class forbid me from looking in their sketchbooks because they feel so bad about their art. I actually still like some of my old pictures that I did when I was little, just 'cause it was pretty good considering how long I had been drawing and also because some of the ideas and concepts I find interesting. I have this one horror pic that I'd really like to draw again...but I keep procrastinating...(Thanks for reminding me, now I will probably go draw that).
Yep. Thanks. I kinda like looking at old art to see how far I've come, but I also hate it because at one point I thought these were really good, you know? lol That's why I started hiding my sketchbook from people. Only my close friends can look at my pictures.

That's just what I was doing today. I found a drawing from when I was 10 and it was painful to look at. All of them. So I'm redrawing her.
