I know all too well from ecperience that we must be careful with how we phrase things. I've hurt one too many people with things that should probably never be said. Also, I'm kinda touchy when it comes to my intelligence =^_^;= Don't worry too much. I'm glad I can teach someone something... ='u';= (I feel I've gotten stupider over the years, though XD;)
Ah, well if you mean for teaching/education purposes, then I see what you mean. When I hear "map" I think travel. That was the gap in communication XD Alright, I conceed to your point ='w'=
I didn't mean to say it that way! I was just getting into the harsh side to get my point across further. I don't mean to insult you! TT^TT You are a very wise person filled with knowledge that I learn from almost daily!
It seems we continue to talk about two different things. My point was that if you are trying to draw earth as a planet, it would be harder to use a flat map to draw than a globe, so using an anatomy diagram that is similar to a flat map is harder than using an anatomy diagram that has a front and back when drawing the human body.
Gee... I wouldn't know a thing about the internet, seeing as I'm a complete moron =._.=
Because that was the way it's been done and a flat map is more convenient to use while driving. Not everyone in the world has high-tech internet phones, nor can they afford them. Plenty of people end up making globular maps from flat-based maps, first, because they need to layout design. And I highly doubt a globular map is 100% accurate, even if it might be more accurate than a flat map. There's room for error everywhere.
Hehe no Abbie-kun~ you yourself are cute no matter how you change ♥ xDD
His pose is actually really cool *A*// It does look like an action pose where he's sidestepping >v< ~ <333 It looks like he's right in the middle of a battle and facing an enemy. And his expression looks calm and collected, but serious. Honestly, really nice job Kitty :D
(And sorry I meant to say the pose was amazing/awesome in my last comment ; v ; that's what I get for typing fast ROFLMAO);;
Aberius: ... Okay, if I'm STILL cute after growing 4 friggin inches, I'm jumping off a cliff... *ties a boulder to his leg*
Me: Whoooooaa, no need to be drastic there =^_^;= Honestly, he still looks cute, though...? ='w';= That pose was meant to be more actiony, like he's side-stepping an enemy... ='u';;= That's... somewhat depressing =^_^;;;=
But thanks, appreciate the comment XD Glad you like it =3

Noooo! D=> It's not finished yet!!! I didn't even mean to upload this to the regular fanart section it was only supposed to be up as a draft but I accidently pressed the button then stopped the upload, but it wound up getting up here anyway! "OTZ
Could you wait until it's done? I also need to sketch in some colors... =^_^;= And there are physical details like Abs' scars that I hadn't added in yet... ='w';=
*jaw drops*...THAT SOUNDS LIKE AN AWESOME JACKET! Now I want one! XD
I don't think that ref is very reliable...it's like a map of the world or something, y'know it go with the back muscles and the front muscles...I dunno it just looks really weird. Some diagrams like that can be wrong, which is why I prefer straight scientific models.
Ahaha, yeah, he needs a way for his tail to come through X3 But it also is supposed to have straps on the back that pull it together, too =3 That way he can stick his tail through, but still keep the jacket closed if he wants X3
Actually, I used this as a ref for the abs... And it's just preliminary stuff, so it's always subject to changes. X3 But thanks for the added ref, I'm sure it'll help me in the future =3

Oooh! I really love this design! I love how his jacket splits in the back!
Oh, but can I just say this really quickly! (Sorry for being judgmental) But his abs are too small...though I know I usually make them too big, I find this diagram to be very good on deciding what goes where and why.

There is a thing called the internet. Why would you use a flat map to draw a three-dimensional spherical planet?

Well, unless you carry a globe around with you everywhere, I think that you're pretty much stuck with the "unreliable" map =^_^;=

A map of the world is flat. The world is not flat. Which is why it would not be reliable to use in drawing.
