Good point mentioning the hairline (I was hoping people wouldn't notice that X3) but you seem like a very arty person, so I guess that's one of the first things you'd look at :D

Looks great! I especially like the detail put into coloring the fan. As for coloring the background - it really does make a piece look more finished. Although I can't really talk because I often leave background out too!

Wow, nicely done! I'm no coloring expert so no comment about it. if you do color the bg, I think a bright simple one would fit.

Pencil crayons also work great!
Just wanted you to color it using pencil colors and they did the job.I'm 100% happy with the coloring,you don't have to color the background,rather it goes perfectly like it is.Maybe you could add sakuras but it will be for the next one :3.

I was debating making a background. The orignal picture had one, and, after discussing it with my sister, we thought it might take away from the main piece. Perhaps if it was a lighter and different colour. Hmmm...debatable...
I think I'll just play around with it a see what happens. If I like it, I'll repost it :D

Well I'm more of a crafts kind of art person, so I can't really give any detailed feedback about the coloring, but it looks amazing~ I looked at the line-art and became very excited before I clicked on the link to this one~ As far as a background goes, it's really personal preference, I think it'd look cool with a BG, but it looks just as amazing without one. I love it~<3 ;D
