Oh dear, uh...a starwhale is a creature from Doctor Who. It flies around in space and, "according to legend", starwhales guided the first space settlers through the asteroid belts and such. In the episode "The Beast Below", they say there's only one starwhale left, which is enough to prompt a "save the" campaign from me. :B
