Naiads are so mysterious ._. This is a lovely representation. :)
Um, the tonal changes seem to get lost in this image. You could try hatching and cross hatching to create depth rather than smudging the graphite. Smudging also damages the grain of the paper, so it's a bit of a no-no-- it also takes longer than hatching D: Also, the proportions of her ear to the rest of her face are out. I think you could try lowering her jaw a bit and measuring the top of the ear to the eye and aligning the bottom of the ear with her nose. If that makes sense-- the ear should be bigger and further back is what I'm trying to say ._. her shoulders are also a bit off, I think I'd need to see the reference to suggest any solution. :O
HOWEVER, I do like how you have drawn her nose and mouth. They are both so delicate and so beautifully sculpted *_* I especially love the overall mood created by the expression. So sweet :) She really does seem like she is from a Roman myth or a bedtime story :D I admire the way you have drawnher hair also, the shadows in that are very realistic and the strands are so elegant.
Gah this comment is so long D: But I hope this helps and my goodness this is such a lovely drawing :O IT'S ONLY A QUICK SKETCH?! You must be crazy! xD Very well done.
