It was a bit challenging at to how land the background and keep the char with detail and at the picture.The main idea at the start was to aim just like a lamp coloring the character when the light would hit.The experiment went well and seems with more practice I could get some nice effects at it.Thanks for the great advice,got to visit to see if you replied my last comment Shane.

You really noticed the color so well,let's imagine like if it's a night picture at the temple of medusa.I used those colors on purpose and also to investigate a bit more the grayscale maps I been using at my pictures.It's a great advantage to use them at backgrounds,really drops the time to brush and color.

Well the main part of a character is to be an interesting character.

Now we can see the finished colored version! When I saw the uncolored lineart, I was wondering how you would color it, with so many lines in the picture. But you did a good job with it, but keeping the character colored lighter than his surroundings. By doing that, he doesn't get lost in the detail. As for that detail, it does look quite good when it's colored. It looks majestic.

Well it was an experiment that came out well.It's the second time I use it and each time I'm more and more satisfied.It's wierd to brush something like this, I'm happy you liked it.

Your coloring is absolutely amazing, Angel! *__* I really like your style. Plus there is so much detail in the picture. Some of the things in the background looks very realistic.

Hey Angel!
I love the colors you chose. Calm grey and blue ith the splash of red and brown on his head. The calm colors really fit with this drawing, even though the pic is rather dynamic. Maybe it's to compensate the dynamicness of it. Or for some feeling it also adds to the mysterious/curious feeling of this piccy. It really makes me question who he is, where he's coming from and what adventures he might live through.

And the background is awesome, good thinking.
