You're amazing. *_* You speak with much experience, I'm sure. xD
This technique with watercolour sounds nifty! I often end up using too much water with mine xD so when and if I use traditional media, I still prefer acrylics. Or better yet just markers.pens and pencils. lol
I hope you don't ever use those really thin A4 papers though for that! Or do you? o-o
Thanks so much! I don't actually use any white masks, no. So I guess I'll plead the "control" answer? I also tend to work with watercolors in a very dry manner - with relatively little water. I do a lot of mixing right on the page. That usually tends to keep creep and bleed down to a minimum. I work that way because I'm rather impatient, and it helps it to dry faster, haha. Also, I tend to use watercolors no matter what paper I've used (which I don't actually recommend!). Some day I'll have to become legitimate and use a kind of paper that actually works well with the implements I've decided to use...
I'll admit, I giggled out loud when I saw this. It's got quite a cute and fun feel to it.
Skyward Pig - with this, you can win epic battles. Oh yes. Let's imagine; the last thing your foes will see is a large purple blur then dead by weight. Hurrah!
Your handling of watercolours is really awesome. Plus, the bold lineart actually goes well with it! Do you use white masks or anything to stop the watercolours from leaking outside your lineart, or do you just have really good control? xD
I am the same way with videogames. I can rarely bring myself to replay games anymore. When I was younger I'd replay games like it was going out of style, but now I can't seem to bring myself to do that. It's the same with movies and television shows too.
I'm going to have to give Windwaker a try then. :D When it came out I didn't think it looked by much, but I'm starting to think otherwise now. My brother got it for the Gamecube and told me that I have to play it. It is definitely on my list to play. That and Link's Awakening. I'm loving this The Legend of Zelda: 25th Anniversary stuff. ^_^
Same thing with Skyward Sword--I honestly can't wait to play that. If I weren't playing through Assassin's Creed Revelations right now I'd be playing that. I did steal borrow the orchestrated CD off my brother though. XD
I really wish I could enter your Challenge, but I can't draw to save my life. lol It's a good Challenge though, and I hope it gets all the recognition it deserves.

Wind Waker really is one of my favorites in the Zelda series... It's one that I've already played multiple times (this is rare for me, with video games). And Skyward Sword really won me over when I realized certain parts of it felt quite a lot like Wind Waker!

This is too cute! ^_^ I really need to play Windwaker.
Like I said before, you are very talented--and this is nothing short of amazing. This could pass as an official artwork! You work well with watercolors too. The coloring is so pretty.
I like how all of your entries have been Zelda themed so far. :D I wish I could enter your Challenge. I'm just not a fanartist. lol That is an awesome challenge though.
Thanks - I'm really quite surprised that the colors work so well for those pigs, but they just work! It probably helps that the Wind Waker style is so bright and cheerful in and of itself. Thanks so much for your kind words!
Amazing!!! I really love this :D Well done on everything! I love seeing Link making an appearance, and its so cool to see the pigs as well! Its funny that the blue colouring for the pigs just looks perfectly normal cuz its so well done! I especially like the little blue pig in the corner. I'm so impressed with your watercolour painting :D Nice work! Good luck on the challenge! I just love this artwork! Your style is stunning!
Thanks so much! This was so much fun to color - your mandate not to use pink just made me want to try some, er, different colors out - and I do think it turned out pretty well.

Really nicely done, and really great coloring too. Also what effects does a skyward 450 pound pig strike have O.o

It's like Atlas with the weight of the world on his shoulders...but replaced by a pig. Link looks so confident, though, like it's all in a day's work!

Well... you could always draw one in some kind of extreme lighting situation - then the colors could be all different!
