To be honest, I love these types of drawings. I love sketch works in general, but stuff like this I always find more personal because you see everything from the under-drawing to the final colors. I've never tried it myself, but seeing this has me inspired. :-)
I think it's really awesome that you've got the skills to draw poses, especially jigging musicians' poses. ^^ It sounds like you've made music and drawing come together as an art and that's quite something else. xD
Yes, I love drawing musicians because it poses so many different challenges - but also opportunities to really try and capture a sense of movement. Rhythm also becomes important... and sometimes I notice that the drawings can be better when the music is better :)
I wouldn't have noticed that the bleeding blues were an accident, if not for this. I totally thought they were on purpose! xD Also, musician poses sound like a great way to practice drawing anatomy and poses.
Drawing while dancing? You are damn well talented. *__*
I'm really glad you think so - that was definitely my intent with this process drawing! I love getting insights into other artists' processes, so I thought maybe someone out there would be interested to see what happens with mine.
This is very cool - you can see hints of the process on the finished piece but actually seeing each stage laid out next to each other was definitely interesting!
... You never cease to amaze me!!! I like how you explain your artworks like this. And one thing that I find most impressive is that you take the challenges as they come and go with the flow! I would never have even known that you changed the angle of link's foot or even had trouble with the blue pen bleeding! Amazing :D You've got so much talent! :D
