Woah! Sorry for such a late comment! I didn't realise I had already gotten an entry. XD
Anyways, This is AMAZING! :D The coloring is absolutely beautiful and everything is blended really well~ especially with the skin and the hair. :) Your character looks amazingly epic too! XD I love how you had them looking out into the distance and everything. The vastness of the background really gives you that Skyrim feeling of adventure. :) I also congratulate you on having the patience to do such an amazing background, especially with markers! MARKERS! I will never understand how people create such beautiful pieces with them, but that's because I usually fail at any type of traditional media. XD
Thank you so much for joining my contest! I really appreciate it. :)
Good luck~!
OMG I love this. It's colored beautifully, and I love the way you put his face in the foreground, and I love the scene you chose for the back. I would not be surprised if this wins. This is beautiful and does justice to this wonderful game. <33

I really appreciated your step-by-step walkthrough related to this piece. I just love seeing that kind of documentation. This turned out fantastically - really great job with the coloring.
The coloring kind of reminds me of a more reserved style of Wenzel Hablik. (I think it's the jagged mountains in the distance, contrasted with the sky, that elicits my thinking so.)
I've learned that unless I have a fresh new marker, doing a background solidly in one color won't work. I used a tooon of them for the background. I think my most abused one for the whole piece was 40% Warm Grey.

I'm not an Elder Scrolls fan, but I love how the marker looks on this piece; it's kind of like a painting. Very nice :D

Thank you! :D I love markers and I haven't used them in a while, so I figured I'd get some use out of them for this.

You did this all in Prisma marker? How did you keep them from dying?! (Because they always do when I color my backgrounds *laughs*) Nice job!
