This was an interesting piece to do - much calmer than some of my other recent drawings, which have had a much more heightened sense of action. The pose, the characters - if just felt like a pause, a breath of fresh air, comparatively.
I know what you mean. lol When I was younger I could replay games and re-watch shows a million times over without getting tired of them. I would know almost everything by heart. I'm still pretty obsessive over things, but it seems like I don't keep track of things like I used to. ~_~ Though it seems like my memory is pretty bad anymore to begin with. lol

You know, I played through Twilight Princess twice or so, and watched my friends play through it... and I don't know much about Ilia, either. I swear I just didn't pay much attention to her (sorry Ilia!). I was more about running all over the place and solving puzzles. I was way more interested in Midna's story - but even that I don't know by heart. I think ... that if I could have played the game when I was 5 years younger than I was when it came out, I would have obsessed wayyyyyy more over it, and I would actually recall more about these characters. Alas!
I've always loved drawing animals - far before I ever started watching even a show as ancient as... pokemon! :D So drawing them comes quite naturally to me.

I'm not very familiar with Twilight Princess--sadly--so I don't really know much about Ilia. ^_^;
What I do know though is that this turned out amazing. Epona looks like she could come to life any moment. Plus the shading and coloring are perfect. :D You are really good at drawing animals. They can be quite a challenge. lol
WOW! Amazing work, Snowy! I love all the detail... The paint and colour are really awesome as well. Its so cool how you ink the picture too!! What a beautiful picture of both Ilia and Epona, and I really like how you added Ilia's fairy! Wonderful!! I'm lost for words now, cuz its so perfect!
