I just started playing Skyward Sword, and I have been lost to Zelda-fantasy-land ever since! So I totally know what you're talking about. So glad you like this! This one is definitely my favorite so far, of all the recent LoZ pictures I've created.
I can't express my utter fangirlness in intelligible language after seeing this picture! I love it! I don't know what's happened, but lately I've been in the biggest Legend of Zelda mood ever. I think it happened when I finally finished Twilight Princess...about a month ago....
But anyway, I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!
Wow! Amazing as always! I really love how you drwe chibi Link and also the Loftwing... Such beautiful bright colours as well! I could never tell that you had to scan it in pieces! Great job, it looks so perfect :3 I love it!!
Thanks so much, I'm glad to hear you say that. Chibis give me all kinds of difficulty - when I try to draw them, my brain says "wait wait wait - so we spent all those years learning how to draw proportions well, and you just want to throw all that out the window now??"
I'd actually sketched Link in at a different place, and a different size, and then just completely erased him, blank slate, and started over...

"Until my fingers bleed" might not be the best determinant of how much you've played Skyward Sword; more like, "until you pull all the muscles in your sword arm" ... hah. Something like that. Fewer button presses, more sword-slinging action!

As always, this looks amazing. :D The chibi Loftwing is so cute! Not to mention Link. You work so well with watercolors. The colors are absolutely gorgeous!
I have to play Skyward Sword now. XD Ezio can wait. I have a three-day weekend ahead of me after tomorrow and I'm going to play Skyward Sword until my fingers bleed. lol After seeing this I can't refrain from playing it too much longer.
