lol I did the same the other day, I found a one of my old stories and thought to myself "I use to love to draw this characters? What happened?" I think it was the same, the story didn't work out and so the characters were forgotten, I really do feel bad though.

re-using characters comes in very handy! I have so many characters, so it helps a lot, but I always come up with new one and then I forget about the old ones, then I feel guilty! XD

All I mean is that you can reuse your character for other thing. For example, if I needed another character for my doujinshi, but couldn't make up another one, I can recycle Rai, but make him human, so he can fit the story. Or I could use either Fumi or Masaki from "Be My Company" and put them in the story.

My art teacher once told me that it is a good idea to start with short stories first, and then go on to bigger ones, that way you can get use to them.
I never did so I don't know how to make a short story! XD But I like the track you're on, and I think it's a good idea to try out a short story first before you get started on your Hocky story!

Same here! Sometimes if I'm thinking of an appointment or having to walk a dog, I can't even concentrate on drawing. Thats why I try to get on my laptop during the morning hours till noon when I have to walk the dogs. Then afterwards do some art^^

Thank You!!! I was actually not planning to finish this drawing, but in the end I did. I was feeling frustrated at stuff, so I decided to take it out on paper,I really felt better after all that.
I had a hard time with the background since I wasn't planing on making it like that, but I saw this one picture that had this digital look, so I wanted to try something like that, I almost liked my marker though!
The white sharpie was some thing I used to make Negative Rai pop out more. I wish that I could of scanned the progress of this so I could of posted in your art world, but I forgot!

I love how you used the white sharpie pen around Negative Rai, like electric rays! And Negative Rai looks so intense. I love his eyes! Yeah, it is funny how our emotions can come out through art and at the same time we end up making masterpieces! I can totally feel emotion in this artwork and its scaring me (in a good way!) I think its super awesome! I love all the detail and cold colours too!
