I don't like using mechanical pencils. I always break the lead and run out of led way to fast. I have a pack of art pencils ranging from HB to 6B that I use.

Oh this looks nice put together and the positions were not the way that I pictured! That's cool! I like how they look together and the design in the background really ties it together great!

it's the other way around for me, I don't like pencils, but I perfer .5 mechanicals, it's just much easier to draw with, but not for shading.
