Haha, the “pumpkin” is a plant-pod-thing. When a Kikwi gets scared it flops down on its stomach and opens the pod to try to look like a shrub, basically. It’s a terrible disguise, but really funny and cute. Kikwi are from The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, if you haven’t come across them before. They are way too cute.

Do you use the plain coloured one? I have little blocks of different colours, but if I ever buy any more I think i'd get the plain one and then paint it like you did.
