Ack it must be tough to have to stay inside! Lol you're starting to sound like a secret agent office worker xD You must have a cool view out the window! I get like that too... if i can't concentrate or if I don't feel like drawing that scene, I can't even force myself to do it >_< You should just take a break if you aren't able to concentrate on pictures of views... Maybe you could study them and write down notes or memorize scenes and then try them out later on? I'm not good with memorizing anything but I like looking at different things and just making mental notes.
Lol thanks! :D I need to get back to drawing! but I just feel overloaded with contests to enter and my style/manga ideas right now >3<
I'll look forward to that one when you get the chance! I have many ideas from work, there's lot's of windows at the office and I can take a really good look outside! If only I could go outside and draw but I can't, since it's tight security!
I like to use picture, but I get distracted by awing at the building structures or over thinking on how I want to get started!
lol that would be a problem, but I'm sure you'll come up with an awesome theme!
Alright! I'll think of some ideas and PM them to you sometime... You don't have to draw what I say but maybe it'll give you other ideas or pictures in your head! You could also draw from reference if you find any perspective shots of manga characters or even realistic photos with bgs :D
Good idea! I'll take your advice and make sure to plan the theme out. Lol if I don't plan it, I might end up randomly drawing a city bg in the wrong place xD lol!
oh sure I don't mind if you give me any ideas! I don't know where to begin with perspective, so anything would be fine, but I think that I should start off with practicing small things first and then build up!
Hm I think that you should think of a theme before you add a city in, I know your ideas will be very awesome! maybe your characters are hanging out in the city at night or something? XD
Thats a good idea! Maybe I can help you out by telling you some perspective ideas to draw? Lol I don't know if I'll have any good ideas though, but I could give you a scene if you don't know what to draw! I was actually thinking of taking requests like that myself so that I could challenge myself to practice thing that I normally wouldn't draw!
Thanks! Every artwork I'm doing now, I'm always wondering whether I can add a city bg or not xD I might be able to soon!! :D
Ah thanks Manga! I'm actually going to try to do some perspective, I'm just not sure how to start on it! T_T I not sure where to begin or what to draw yet, but I would like to practice something before I go any further into my doujinshi! XD
I know you will do an awesome job on it if you do get to draw a city! and yes I think the lights would be the best part too! XD
Ah I was going to let you know that I can help you out if you need help there! I'm definitely not a pro but I could maybe give you some ideas if you're stuck on a perspective shot or something x3
I'm so excited to try a coloured city out! I think it would be really fun to add the lights afterwards xD
It's so cool how you are able to draw the cities, cause you are really good at perspective! I still have trouble with perspective and that's not good if I plan on having my doujinshi take place in a city!
Oh my you doing a colored version of a city would be amazing! I can't wait to see that if you ever get the chance to draw a city! I really like that video with the city in it, it was cool seeing how the artist colored the building and the sky and also the characters too!
Ah you're right! I totally forgot that I had drawn cities in there! Lol but now that I think about it, I usually just scribbled some buildings xD I would like to colour a city scape too! I find that art video you shared was really cool... the one where there's a city bg with characters done in time lapse!
Really amazing drawing once again! I saw your post on that Artist Cubby world on how this drawing came to be- you sure put a ton of effort into this drawing!
The background is so detailed also. >.>
Ah you don't fail on city scapes!! Not at all!! I really love how you did this one :D I wish I could do city backgrounds like you^^
I'm really glad you finished it and posted it too :D
Thanks Manga! This drawing took months to finish, mainly cause I was being lazy and I got distracted so much! I think it's my 2nd digital drawing I took seriously! XD
I like drawing cities, even though I fail, but it was fun! XD
Oh this is nice, Toya!!! I'm glad you found and posted it :D You did amazing!!! I think the most impressive thing is the city-scape background *3* I love Lucy and Augustus' expressions^^ And you drew the motercycle really well xD Nice work!!! You're great with digital!
