The original designs may look easy, but it's hard, I used a diagram of a My little Pony to see the structure for one and it worked, It gave me an idea on the drawing process.

I'm glad you don't mind the background, I was going to leave it blank, but then that would drive me crazy, seeing all that white space and my hand would be itching to draw something there.XD
Oh now that you mention it, Lux and Kaito would be pretty similar in design, but their personalities are so different! Lux is Mr.Cool Guy, while Kaito is Mr. Icecream loving Guy! XD
Kaito's my favorite vocaloid, so I choose him. I like much better then Miku though he's not that good at singing cause they don't know how to use him right...XD

Pony Kaito turned out really well!! It does look like you had fun with him! Theres so much colour and detail! :D

Naw the background is fine because it isn't that overwhelming compared to some backgrounds that take away from the main point of the picture. That is simple and fine. lol Haha when I saw Kaito I automatically thought of Lux because people have drawn Lux as Kaito xD Makes me so happy to see him as a pony....sorta....
I am not very familiar with the Vocaloids but the coloring on this matches him so well with blue hair, baby blueish skin, the music notes on the butt. I love the style and the color! Very well thought out and done!!! Thanks so much for entering!!! :)

I'm thinking of doing a multi-character drawing with more then one pony. Lol its funny, I would never have drawn My Little Pony except that N made this awesome challenge^^
