this doesn't look awkward at all, it looks really natural with all the shading and shadow. i also love the bubbles background that you did, it really adds to the moment :)good luck with your shojo manga :)

the first time I drew a couple felt strange to, but you'll get use to it! XD It just take a little practice and I think your shoujo will come out good!
