I love how the mane came out as well, especially after I added the effects in Photoshop. It really looks like his (he would make a fine female character haha) mane is on fire, so that was really exciting!

And you are so right! The black against the fiery mane and tail has an awesome contrast! There were so many directions I could of went as far as the color patterns but the one I ended up doing went really well!

Yeah, I haven't been in the mode of making new characters for a long time. So actually taking the time to make one is really nice! Then I love the element of fire so that's always a plus!

After I went to post on my world I looked at the tab where I got my link's URL and saw 5 comments, I'm like WHOA REALLY?

I'm so incredibly flattered with the comments I received and just the positive feedback from all of you!

I was inspired by my candle making which led me to make a fire themed pony. She's a he by the way lol but nonetheless awesome! I was going to color the legs with more colors but I liked the soft orange/yellow, since it didn't distract too much from the mane.
