Thankyou, Anna!!! I'm glad you like it, thanks :D
I'm going to be re-uploading this with a stamp across it though because I just found that someone stole one of my art and put it on this french art competition website thingie O_O
I'll make a post about it as soon as I can in the Artist Cubby! Lol I feel like I have to do a lot of important things, and I don't want to forget! =_= Time to update my to-do list!
I will!!! it'll be thanks to you to get me entering them xD
She's not super famous but she illustrates for some popular Canadian kids books! I wanna post her website and portfolio on here sometime, need to get her permission though.. You'll be blown away by her stuff!!
Yes, yes they are!!! =^_^=
And thanks again, I should try to look into a contest.. I might even try to get in touch with the mother of my brother's friend.... She's an illustrator and wants to see some of my work. Her work is out of this world O_O
*pats your back* I'll just be hoping those are tears of joy. xD
No prob~ you deserve more than just praise! You should enter an art contest or something!
Thankyou So much Panou!! Lol I actually did start scribbling everywhere and then zoomed up on it and fixed it up ^^' I feel like doing another artwork like this one but I must teach myself some more patience with digital xD
Lea, you awesome girl!!!! You're making me cry!! You say such nice things to me, I get sososo happy and get all teary. Thats an accomplishment ya know, seeing I rarely cry xD You are just TOO SWEET!!!! I love you!! Thankyou so much for viewing my work and leaving such amazing up-lifting, out-of-this-world comments that make me feel invincible!! Because of friends like you I want to keep getting better and doing more art, thankyou!!! <333
Thankyou Toya! ^_^ And I should still experiment with more brushes.. I felt like I didn't use them as well as I could of, but at least they worked ok for me xD
this is amazing and wonderful and I LOVE IT :D i really love the clouds and how real it looks (a lot better than what i can do XD) and i do like the feel of how the house has the sketchy feel :) ♥ wonderful job jen as always you are improving :D

Wow! Both your painting and the photo are incredible! What an amazing thing to see. You captured it so well – I love the texture in the clouds and how the rain looks underneath...so awesome!
This is super amazing! The clouds looks real and the details you put into the house and trees at the bottom is awesome.
When I look at the clouds for a long time, I see an angry toad face....I guess it's just me :)
Wow can't believe you use sai for this, I think that in no time you will be one of the best digital artist on here. And a talented digital artist who is also good at traditional art :) Nice.

WHOA, JEN! This is just too epic! :OOOO
I love the cloud lighting in contrast with the darker green on the bottom~ I would had scribbled everywhere LOL!
Someone please wake me up from this dream. That is wayyy to realistic looking to even be a drawing. .___.
I mean, LOOK AT THOSE DETAILS! The blend of colors used in the cloud, the slight bit of sunlight coming through the clouds, the trees in the distance, the wooden houses.....JEN. YOU MAGICAL PERSON. (I should use something other than magical....xD) WHY YOU NOT A WELL KNOWN ARTIST?! THIS IS AS GOOD AS MONA LISA. Only, I don't find Mona Lisa as amazing as THIS.
Thanks again, my friend ^_^ I used the pen, the blur tool, the water brush thing, and the air brush! I tried our the rest of the default tools too but nothing worked like how I wanted.. Its even better quality but I made it smaller for posting here... The clouds look unfinished though xD BUt I'm glad you like it!!
Thanks Toya!! Sometime I don't see how I could start a drawing like this so I'm glad I didn't overthink it this time! I actually got used to doing this with the tablet but I need to learn more Sai tools sometime xD I was experimenting and that slowed me down.
Glad you like this though!
Thankyou SO much, Kai!! I fiddled with this work for so long... I even had to restart after losing my first beginning O_O And I still think I could work on it for another day xD but I'm really proud now and satisfied, thankyou for your nice words!
Your rendition is beautiful! You captured the lighting and the atmosphere so well. I love the brush strokes in the clouds and the color of the sky where the rain is falling.
