I think I've always spelled color as colour! XD And favorite as favourite. I think there are certain words where o's just don't do any justice to the pronunciation so I add the u.

Ah...I know the pain of colouring a large pic with markers...and guess what? My grey marker ran out when I did that...maybe grey doesn't like large pics (or vice versa).
