It's okay! Wow, that's pretty lucky to be able to find a publisher so easily.
You really can't tell. In fact, I liked how volume one was drawn. It had more of a--what's the word?--homey and personal feel, I guess. Instead of looking all digital like most manga do nowadays, it was done traditionally--that's it! A more traditional feel to it.
Sorry for the month late reply!! I didn't have a hard time finding a publisher, actually. My moms boss just HAPPENED to have her own publishing company. I drew a cover for her book, and in return, she published my manga.
I drew Z Forever book 1 in pencil first, then inked it over with a ballpoint pen, though you can't really tell. Volume two is going to be MUCH better quality, and better toning.
Also, if you like my manga, you mind going to Zforever.net to tell me what you think of it (in the forum). It's under the Book One discussion.
SO cool! You actually got published and you're selling on Amazon?! I'm definitely buying it to check it out. (Oh, and your name's given as the author. I promise we're not stalkers or something.)
I can't help asking how hard it was to find a publisher. Also, how did you do the illustrations for Z Forever? It looks like pencil, etc. but given the fact you said you use Paint Tool SAI, I'm not sure.
Sure, you can call me that (but how did you know?)
I actually colored the whole thing traditionally, but it was really weird looking. So, I fixed it up in Paint Tool Sai, but left her jacket the way it was.
Thank you so much Mark (is it alright if I call you that? ^^;)! I love the pose, her expression and the colouring for sure! Did you colour her sweater traditionally and her skin and hair digitally? They really blend nicely together. ^__^
Thank you again, and take cares~~
