This looks exactly like the 10th Doctor and Rose. You captured their expressions well. There is so much emotion in their faces. It looks as if they could spring to life at any moment. I really like the textures in Rose’s hat too.

I got the coloured mechanical pencils from my favourite art store called Curry's. The pencils are called Pilot Colored Eno in .07 led size. I love them since they give me a base draft to work on and then I don't have to erase it since it acts like the effect u mentioned x)

GAH u think so?? I really would like to start taking commissions! I've only sold some lineart to a neighbor recently, and it got me excited to maybe take commissions on DA or something... I am pretty sure her hat is the best thing I have ever observed, along with their eyes, which are extremly mesmerizing. you got Rose's eyebrows spot on as well!...and David's hair...even more beautiful than usual!(and he has some VERY nice hair!)where did you get that wonderful mechanical pencil? the effect it gives is just lovely!

Sometimes I think its just a matter of getting inspired again ^_^ U can do something like draw specific ideas for a reason (such as sketch requests), draw a new character, doodle all over a page (all sorts of randomness xD), or even just take a break totally from drawing and don't pressure urself too much. I think its kind a block can give us time to recharge if we just don't get stressed or discouraged because of it :D
