I know this is going to sound weird, but oooooh o.o This is news to me. I'm going to have to seriously consider whether or not I'm going to be coloring more on paper to justify buying Prismacolors.
Then again, it probably should've dawned on me sooner; it's like Crayola vs. Copic for markers (then again, I've never used Copics before either...)

Once you do go for the better quality colored pencils, I think you'll notice a big difference. Right now, I'm using Blick's store brand colored pencils. I have tried Prismacolor colored pencils before, and they are amazing. I don't think I could use Crayola again; the leads just feel so stiff to me now.

Thanks! ^_^ And that's cool, with the couple of colors. I tend to do that for the skin tones, because there isn't just one for skin that I like.

I think I also used a couple of unmarked ones that were from a Shrinky Dinks Disney Princess kit XD But I'd say for this picture, they were most likely Crayola and at least one Foohy.

When I use colored pencils, I usually mix two or even three colors. I think that makes the picture more interesting.
But your coloring job isn't bad at all. I like how you didn't color part of her hair to make it look like highlights. Out of curiosity, what brand do you use?

Ohh, thank you for the dedication!! This is super adorable! The Tactician outfit is crazy-detailed ~ great job with it here and I can’t wait to see your finished cosplay! ^^
Ha, I used to use nothing but colored pencils for coloring my artwork. It would be pretty interesting to go back to it now after getting so used to digital!
Nice coloring. At least you're able to color in the lines :) cuz some ppl in rl that i know can't and it's sad...
Even though, I don't know much about fire emblem, i think that this is still a great fanart for it :)
her face is cute, kinda remind me of those russian dolls :D
