I'm sorry, but I don't agree. I don't see the foot facing straight at us like your sketch indicates. It looks like it's turning up and away from the body and it opens the pose in Cambiaso's piece. My version may not perfectly match the pose but there isn't an anatomical issue with it. Here is my interpretation of the study.
Thank you so much! This is the sort of comment I was looking for!
As for the chubbiness of Cambiaso's angel, it was a stylistic choice to slim the figure down since the original was a cherubic male.
I really like this! It's neat that you would draw from a sketch of another artist, that's a really net idea! I love how silky you made the fabric look! The colouring is really nice on this!
About the foot...from the sketch that you used I can tell the artist used foreshortening, but I can see how that can be a bit confusing. The foot in front should be a bit shorter and wider to suggest the forshortening; as can be seen in the sketch it's kinda stubby looking, but you can tell it's the same size as the other. Also there is a nice curve connecting the shin to the toes. That's all the advice I can give you. Other than that, it looks FANTABULOUS!
I honestly see nothing wrong with either feet. Here is the piece I worked from. Maybe you could draw out what you mean? You know, showing me an example would be a little more helpful ^_^;

I really like the juxtaposition of the characters in this picture. The reaper is drawn well. It's also nice that you coloured it! +fav
