oh no, you're advice makes sense, I will keep that in mind. It's kinda like shading with pencils. Always go light then dark ^^ Thanks :)
I'm glad to hear that everything about her go well together ^^ Cuz I pretty much drew her first before thinking of what kind of personality she has. It's also great to hear that you liked the coloring of the pants and her face :)
Yeah I guess I should had made her boots/feet a bit bigger cuz when I try to visualize her boots being taken off, her feet looked too small. Now that I look at the one with her in purple, I feel her head is too big -_- Yeah I gotta work on my proportion....
Thanks for your input Keba, I know what I gotta work with now ^^
see you around.
Your works are the ones that mainly influence me on trying copics so it makes perfect sense to dedicate this to you :)
Really? Yay, I'm glad that you liked this, Jen ^^
As textures? aww..you're too kind Jen, you're always looking on the positive side of things :D But now that I look at it closely, yeah...those streaks could pass as textures ^-^
Oh I learned the process from an article/blog that I found about copic markers. It seems like many people recommended this process, so I went with it. But yeah I would totally had done it your way. I would also normally inked the drawing first then color. But so many ppl say that doing that would dirty your coloring tip.Is that true for you?
I didn't want to mess up my set(why are they expensive? -__-) so I didn't want to risk it. Maybe when I feel more comfortable I will ink first then color :)

:D Thanks Aishia ^-^
I'm glad that you liked her. Yeah I'm always looking for strong female characters in manga but most of the time they disappoint me. Ikr, you would think love would make one stronger, but that's likely not the case -_-
Thanks again for your lovely comment ^^
I will work more on her :D
Markers are tricky. It takes some time to get the hang of them. The way I do it is to start with light colors and work your way to the darker colors. You don't have to take my advice because I haven't used markers for a few years.
From what you described, the personality fits the character. Her expression, hairstyle, and clothes all reflect the type of person she is.
You might want to work on proportions a bit. The one thing that stands out to me is that her feet look too small. To determine body proportions, try to measure how long/wide certain body parts are to each other, such as how many heads tall the body is.
Something I do like is the shading. I can tell from the highlights of the pants that the material catches light the way leather does. Also, the coloring of the face is really good.
Keep up the good work, P-Man!
Call it karma. Call it luck. Me, I just don't give a... BOUNCE!
Ah I love this, Panda!! Cyma is back :D and in colour!! Lovely work, I'm so excited to see her around here and also more copic work from you! You did great on your first try with them^^ I didn't think the streaking looked bad.. even tho I can see it, its like a texture! You'll get used to how Copics work tho soon.. it took me some time. U can always experiment with marker paper too.
I agree, I love tough cool girl characters like Cyma <3
And I think your process is neat, usually I ink the drawing before colouring it, but then have to erase the pencil lines and then re-ink after colouring so the lines stand out more =_= So good idea!
Thanks so much for the surprise awesome dedication!! Cyma is so cool :D
