That's the only setback I find with watching subs. Cultural differences mean things we find funny as English speakers don't necessarily come across as funny to people that speak other languages, and cultural references don't translate well.
Yeah. I guess I'm a fast reader. The only thing that drives me crazy is when there's a joke that makes perfect sense in Japanese, but they don't bother to explain it. I guess the upside of dubs is that they know they're targeting an English-speaking audience.
Call it karma. Call it luck. Me, I just don't give a... BOUNCE!
*So jealous* I'd watch anime subbed if I had that kind of concentration... usually I'm fangirling/theorizing and don't pay so much attention to the screen.
Huh. I kinda do that too, just with the English actors. I'm getting better at recognizing voice actors the more anime I watch.
Interesting. 'Cause I tend to watch anime in the original Japanese. Sometimes if a voice sounds familiar, I'll look up the character on Anime-Planet to see if he/she has the same actor as another character.

I tend to keep track of what actors voice what characters in different series... like how Vic Mignogna played Tamaki Suoh (Ouran), Death Scythe (Soul Eater), Ed (both series), Yukito (Air), and a host of other characters from series I haven't seen yet. Or how Maxey Whitehead played Crona (Soul Eater), Al (FMAB only), Hiro Sohma (Fruits Basket), and a bunch of other characters I can't remember ATM.
Looks like I forgot to say "SURPRISE!" You're welcome!
Yeeah... guess it's a little obvious -////- I think that's one temptation you can afford to give in to.
*bursts out laughing* Oh mai butler... it's nothing like Naruto. The closest it gets is that the antics in it get crazy like in Naruto. Unless Naruto befriends a Chinese national and an Indian prince, as well as forges a contract with a demon and sells his soul away later in the series, they've got nothing in common.
Random yaoi fanboys aside, I think you would like it. There is one episode where Ciel has to dress up as a girl to catch a murderer, and he gets kidnapped by a pervy Viscount played by Todd Haberkorn, but Sebastian takes care of things. Though it did make me cry at the thought of Todd Haberkorn, who played Ling Yao in FMAB, voicing the ever-creepy Viscount of Druitt.
I see you're having fun with Manga Studio. I'm tempted to bust out my old version.
I have never seen Black Butler (I find it hard to type the Japanese title). Somebody once told me it's "exactly like Naruto, only without the suck." When he said that, it made me hesitate because (a) it doesn't look a thing like Naruto and (b) the person who said this was a yaoi fanboy who ships every male anime character EVER. Since I trust your opinion more so than a random yaoi fanboy, please set me straight.

I think I'll add it to my ever-growing list of anime that I want to watch.
Oh, and your last comment made me LOL.
