You definitely should, this is great!! and don't give up on your parrot, I know what stage you are at now and its easy to get discouraged. But keep working and you'll get past it! And also I find fiddling with changing the hues or adding differnt effects and such motivates me again when I get discouraged when working digitally ;)

I really like the way you shaded his hair, all those layers of colour and it looks wonderful! His fluffy ears are cute too, as are the little electric flashes on his cheeks ^^ I'd say your experiment was a success!

Toya, I was so excited to see Rai posted!!! I just popped online to comment to you about him... I think you did really amazing!!! I just love how you did his hair and eyes!! He looks so great, you need to do more digital works like this!!! And amazing textures for the background, it all fits together perfectly!! Kyaaaaaaaa super work!!! I love it!!
He looks cool, Toya! Raimundo looks like he's in a videogame and is ready to knock some one out. I think the cool effects and nice shading that you drew made him look that way, which is awesome. This look great already and I think if you practice more with this new painting technique, it would just add more to your mad painting/drawing skillz.....and yep skillz with a "z" :D
